Being back in Boone, NC (our hometown) for the Artisan Holiday Market was a wonderful experience and we were thrilled to be amongst so many talented artists and creators! We were excited to setup and debut what we had been working on for the past few months. Since it was our first show we were unsure what to expect or how things worked but we were ready non-the less.
We decided to bring our tabletop press so people could letterpress their own ornament. It’s always more fun if you get to experience letterpress first-hand and see the press in action! It was great to see everyone’s reaction when they pulled their creation off the press and talk about how cool letterpress is (but I guess I am a little bias ☺).
Here’s a shot of the ornament fresh off the press. It is Boone, NC themed which of course had to have Yosef sledding on it.
By the end of the day we considered the show a success and were humbled by all the positive feedback and well wishes. We can’t wait for next year’s holiday market! Thanks to all who came out to support Wit and Whimsy Paperie, we couldn’t have done it without you!
